10 million people worldwide are currently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and studies have shown that exercise helps slow down their symptoms. A boxing program in Murrysville, Pennsylvania is helping people with Parkinson’s fight back against their disease. The president of Fit 4 Boxing Club 2, Brett Burkhart brought the ‘Rock Steady Boxing’ program to his gym to help even more people.
