The Akron Zoo out did itself again during their 27th year of Boo at the Zoo. During the first three weeks of October, this annual event brings the community together by providing a safe atmosphere for trick-or-treaters to play, collect candy, and watch the animals. There are 12 candy stations that are made up of volunteers and zoo staff. These passionate individuals take pride in creating everlasting memories for those who attend. This family owned business started this event in hope to familiarize children and families with Life Flight Medevac helicopters.
