On average 54 percent of all high school athletes have reported to play games while injured. And 90 percent of student athletes have some sort of injury.

A recent report put together over 1100 studies on how good exercise can lead to good mental health. The report reviewed studies from the past 30 years and found that 89% of people had a positive association between physical activity and mental health. The top three exercise exercise types that were linked to mental health benefits are general physical activity, aerobic activity, and yoga. Researchers of the guided meditation app “Calm” conducted a cross-sectional survey to see if using the app more frequently was associated with better sleep and improved mental health. Experts say that despite the study being “basic” and “based on self-report,” when used with other studies done on the same subject, it should be taken seriously. TV2’s Shane Troyano discusses the potential “calming” effects the app could have on someone’s sleeping habits.

The main circumference of the study showed a heavy diet surrounded by red meat can reduce your life expectancy. Suicidality within the LGBTQ+ community is more common compared to suicidality of heterosexual individuals. Currently celebrating 40 years of their non-profit, the sanctuary is not taking in any new felines becuase of their current financial stressors.
