        On Sunday November 19th, friends and family gathered in Cartwright Hall to celebrate the life of the late Professor Halim El-Dabh. El-Dabh resided and taught in Kent for a number of years, after composing many musical pieces. Many long-time friends of El-Dabh came and shared stories on their memories of him. Friends of El-dabh say he was loved and respected by many people. TV2’s reporter, Nyla Henderson has more on this story.

A music student’s hand written composition awarded him a grant and a special performance by the Black Squirrel Winds. Tyler Thompson has the story.
