THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH CONDUCTED AN ORAL IMMUNOTHERAPY CLINICAL TRIAL TO HELP REDUCE PEANUT ALLERGIES IN YOUNG CHILDREN AGES ONE TO THREE. NEARLY 1.5 MILLION INDIVIDUALS AGES SEVENTEEN AND YOUNGER HAVE PEANUT ALLERGIES. OUR REPORTER GABBY JONAS STUDIED THE TRIALS OUTCOME AND WHAT’S TO COME FROM THE STUDY.
