Study shows the correlation between social media and mental health
The Journal of Technology and Behavioral Science released a publication during peak quarantine in 2020 centered around social media and the effects it can have on one’s mental health. The information implied increased social media usage among the younger generation and people who have diagnosed mental illnesses or disorders. The publication took into account many studies done since 2017 and culminated the information together for one, holistic view into how social media can change a person. TV2’s Chris Abreu can explain more about the findings of the studies.
