The Fashion School Store in Downtown Kent will move to a new location.

Welcome to the Fashion School Store located in Downtown Kent. Run by faculty member, Karey Christie, the store not only houses student work, but also alumni and staff member products. According to Christie, the store will be getting more than just a change of location.

“The space is shaped differently. Its long and narrow instead of much more square shaped. We are going to have a little more storage area, but definitely much more exposure to walk by traffic” said Christie.

The new Fashion School Store will move right across the from the Kent hotel located on Deypster and Erie Street. As for the old Fashion Store, it will become part of the popcorn shop, Popped.

The new store is set to close the week of spring break according to Christie. Before the store can move, Christie is looking for a few extra hands to aid in the change.

“We are looking for a lot of student involvement with the new space.  We want them to come in and help us build new fixtures, paint things. We are looking for a lot of volunteers.
