Post Pandemic Progress
Remote classes were hard on institutions around the country. From faculty to students, everyone struggled with the the new online grading regime, and it showed in the academics. It wasn’t until students and professors were allowed back in person for classes that grades began to change. 2020-2023. The country saw a A 0.15 increase in average overall gpa over the time, as well as a A 3.4% increase in overall course completion over the same amount of time. Studies show that bringing students back to the classroom was essential in the progress of their academics and overall outlook on schools.
