Kent State Senior Jordan Italiano was nominated to be one of 12 National Scholar-Athletes for the 2015 season by the National Football Foundation. Italiano is the first Kent athlete in history to be selected for this award. He is also in the running for the William V. Campbell Trophy and will receive an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship and a seat at the Football Hall of Fame dinner.
